The Congressi Stefano Franscini supports you organize a scientific meeting on Monte Verità. Here you find the relevant information.
Deadline for application: 1st October 2024 for the conference season 2026
For 2024 and 2025, the CSF cannot support any more events. You can still ask directly at external pageMonte Verità, if they have any free capacity.
The scienitific board desides about the quality and relevance of the submitted applications. In general, the CSF does not support events where a birthday festivity is a (major) part of the proposed event. Conference series can be accepted, when the novelty is substantial and the ongoing progress is a major part of the event. In order to keep the CSF open for a wide range of organisers, we strongly discourage yearly events.

Conference: The conference format is for a group of 50-120 participants, staying three to five days on Monte Verità. You have the possibility to apply for any time from February until November. The aim is to have an international meeting attracting the most relevant people worldwide of the field. The main organizer must be a professor affiliated at a Swiss University.
ETH summer school: The ETH summer school format is especially targeted to give young scientists the possibility to get a state-of-the-art insight into a scientifically relevant topic. The aim is to provide an open school for all interested and qualified participants, the lecturer should come from different (international) universities, where the main organizer must be professor at ETH Zurich. Summer schools usually take place during July, August, September.
Workshop: The workshop format is targeted for a smaller group (minimum 25) and is in general lasting three days. You have the possibility to apply for any time from February until November. The aim is to have an open meeting for the most relevant people of the field. The main organizer must be a professor affiliated at a Swiss University.
ETH winter school: The ETH winter school format is especially targeted to give young scientists the possibility to get a state-of-the-art insight into a scientifically relevant topic. The aim is to provide an open school for all interested and qualified participants, the lecturer should come from different (international) universities, where the main organizer must be professor at ETH Zurich. Winter schools profit from special prices during the winter season November, January and February.
CSF online platform
on the CSF online platform you can submitt you application and after acceptance manage your event. Please use it to organize the information flow between you, the CSF and the event office from Monte Verità. Like this we get the lists generated and submitted through the CSF online platform directly. It ensures that the relevant contact persons get the information on bedroom bookings, meal arrangements, excursion and social dinner and the technical requirements in the conference rooms. Furthermore we use the participants data to generate a number of documents, such as name badges, certificates of attendance and travel refund recipies.
